Holiday Parade of Lights 2019

Experience one of Elk Grove’s most cherished annual traditions – the Holiday Parade of Lights. This year’s event will be held in a new location and on a different night, but in conjunction with the City of Elk Grove’s IllumiNATION Holiday Festival and the Elk Grove Youth Sports Foundation’s Running of the Elves.

December 7, 2019 Evening Schedule:

  • 3 p.m. – Running of the Elves 5K Registration/Check-In
  • 4 p.m. – IllumiNATION Festival Begins
  • 4:30 p.m. – Running of the Elves 5K Begins
  • 6 p.m. – Parade of Lights
  • 7:30 p.m. – Tree Lighting

    Entry Deadline: November 30, 2019 Lineup and Pre-Judging starts at 4:30 p.m. on Laguna Springs Drive. Parade starts at 6 p.m. Your entry will be judged on a Christmas/Holiday theme and the use of LIGHTS! No Santa entries are allowed in the parade - we already have one.
  • We look forward to announcing information about your group. Please list any information you would like announced at the reviewing stand (awards, etc.) concerning your entry.
    By checking this box and submitting my entry, I agree to hold harmless the Elk Grove Community Council, the City of Elk Grove, Elk Grove Unified School District, and all those associated with the production of this event from any liability arising from my or my organization's participation and/or any loss or damage to my display entry, or self. Further, I grant permission to all the foregoing to use my name, voice, and images for myself and my organization in any photography, motion pictures, videographer, or electronic recording of this event for legitimate purposes.
